There seems to be a country club atmosphere with this team. Remember, Tomlin was voted best coach by players around the league. It's not too difficult to figure out why: he's buddy-buddy and won't get in anyone's face.

what made no sense to me was when Leftwich was in last week, he's known for having a big arm and yet we only attempted 1-2 deep passes, this week Batch is starting who has no arm yet we're attempting hail marys every other play. 1st and 10, 3:00 at our own 40 and we go deep to a double covered Mike Wallace? What the hell is that bs.

Hardest game I had to wach in a long time and it gets worse I have to go to work in the Cleveland area where they think they just won the freaking Super Bowl. It is going to be a long week.

Is that a response of disbelief? It's true. They had nine turnovers in a loss to winless Cincinnati:

I firmly agree with what you just said. We just have NO discipline. Too much of a friendly enviroment.

What he's trying to say is that it's still impossibly unlikely with this team.

I had a grip on what went wrong, but then I coughed it up.

i did like the long ball to Plax in the end zone. Resulted in our only offensive points. I realize the score didn't show it, but I thought Charlie did better than Byron.

Tomlin needs to take responsibility for the fumbles and int's. He needs to take responsibility for all of the injuries. He needs to take responsibility for all of the penalties. He needs to take responsibility for all the dropped balls, and poorly thrown balls. He needs to take responsibility for the missed tackles. Why? Because the players clearly didn't wake up this morning believing they were professional football players. Next time Tomlin needs to personally tuck them in and read them a goodnight story.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to make that connection, just that a Sb-winning team actually did THAT. It's what makes the nine turnovers even more unbelievable.

The offensive game plan was horrible, to many delayed hand offs up the middle against a team that was beating our o-line like they were boys against men. Were was a well designed screen pass not a check down or a good play action to slow down the rush up the middle. To have Charlie throwing more than 30 yards down field on a couple of the good possesions we had was stupid, he under threw all of them. Also Charlie can't throw the out pattern with velocity which Haley should know, play to what Charlie can do, I know it is not much. We seemed to outsmart ourselves. Establishing a short passing game can be as good as a running game as we saw at the end with Heath where was that in the first half.

"We are not looking for comfort. We understand that we are not going to have much support after a performance like that. We probably deserve that."

    Correct!

I love when people act like they 100% know things, but they really do not.

This was the most pathetic performance I have seen from the Steelers in a long time. Like a week. This was worse. I am so sick of this team not showing up (with the exception of a few like Heath and Timmons, for example). I am so sick of "we accept that" and "The standard is the standard" crap. I don't blame Tomlin for everything, but this team is not disciplined or fired up to play. We always play at the level of our competition, and it gets tiring. (I know, waa waa on my part.) I have reservations about Ben coming back next week against the rats - you know Thuggs will go right for his ribs. I don't know what the answer is, but we better not hear "We will unleash hell" anytime.

Well, that's why I said "seems to be." You have a better explanation? Because this is as undisciplined a Steeler team as we have ever seen.
