I now wonder if there is a trade somewhere on the horizon....

 

I'm guessing Boykin will get reps on the outside with the others playing in the slot. It may also depend on the opponent. Also, it helps that Claypool can play the slot and Johnson can play outside.

Yeah, that is what I just heard. Also Tomlin said that only Mitch and Kenny will be active for the Cincinnati game.

Funny, A copy and Paste error on the depth chart, or did Art step in and tell Tomlin who his backup QB was?

Soo maybe Tomlin wanted him #3 and the GM or Owner said no, who knows.

 

That's what they're announcing now on the NFL Network that Tomlin said that it was a "clerical error". You better believe that Art II or some other bigwig let Tomlin know that they were facing a PR nightmare if Pickett wasn't at least the #2 QB.

 

I think this screwup speaks volumes as to the current State of the Front Office.

They clearly stepped on their dongs and immediately had to walk it back. Glad they fixed the "clerical error" but it's BS that Tomlin thinks we're all stupid enough to believe that it was a "cut and paste" mistake. A mistake is forgetting to bring milk home, or leaving your wallet at home, or making an inappropriate joke at a family Christmas party. No Mike, that wasn't a simple clerical error.
