Nepotism at its finest?

Really what Watt is actuality getting paid this year is ALMOST same as what He would make with His years as a veteran minimum.

 

This is it in a nutshell.

People can ***** about Watts salary but he was the best FA FB out there at a time we were meant to be getting back to the run. The fact he wasn’t used isn’t exactly his fault.

 

I think what people don't realize or want to realize is we can add
a player of need at a way cheaper price then the 14 million over contract that this Watt will
have taken from the Steelers. Shame on Steelers. OL/ ILB anyone?

 

I noticed one of the comments under the Steelers PS post on Twitter was that Cody Whites dad is a scout...confirmed that Sheldon White, Director of Pro Scouting, is indeed his dad. Someone made the point Tyler Vaughns was a greater prospect then Cody White (which I agree). I wonder who others think had the better upside between the two??

Yeah, that irks me in this case because he really did play head and shoulders above Cody White. Hope it doesnt come back to bite them one day.

He signed a nearly 10 million dollar deal.... I don't care what cap gymnastics were played. He was made the highest paid FB in the NFL and has done nothing at all to warrant that on this team.

So in your estimation, is this because he has shown he isn't worth the money with the very little he's played, or because they haven't used him enough to warrant the contract? One of those things is clearly not his fault.

 

Actually, neither is his fault.

 

I was eluding to him not playing well when he did play but yes, not being utilized is certainly not his fault. Seems surprising that any blame would fall on him when the head coach and o.c. take the blame for everything else.
