is rudolph #2? I think he should be because he knows the playbook. And that's who i rather have in Trubisky ear...... I don't want pickett touching the field until we know what the line is.

It means Kenny will be in street clothes during the game. Fans can't be yelling at Tomlin to put Kenny in.

This should take some of the pressure off Mitch on gameday.

 

Will anybody feel confident if Trubisky doesn’t play well and he is replaced by Rudolph to try and win games?? I sure as hell won’t. Hopefully this doesn’t ever come close to happening but if it does and Rudolph has to come in and try to win a game or two and he still stinks and screws it up Tomlin and the coaching staff get what they deserve and then some.

They better hope that Trubisky doesn't get hurt or is ineffective in a home game. When they bring Rudolph in the boos will be deafening. The Steelers will lose any home field advantage with this decision if Trubisky goes down.

I guess I am one of those fans whining about the QB selection. Really felt Kenny was better in preseason and should have solidified #2 spot. Sure he is young but I remember another young QB making it on the field as a rookie and winning a SB

 

He missed quite a bit of time in training camp, that could be the reason, he will still play a lot though.
