No problem with constructive criticism of the team or any active member from ownership, management, coach or player. Hell even ranting because of disappointment. But the OP has never...in my recollection had something positive to say about the Steelers. Thst may be an overstatement..but he lives to troll, or at least stir up dissent. Use to it..funny as hell when you are a few beers in.

Two founding members of Pearl Jam (Mother Love Bone) formed before even Mighty Joe Young but regardless too bad Ten was recorded and released in 91 before Core was which clearly ripped off Pearl Jams sound. I though Plush was Pearl Jame the first time I heard it on the radio. Hey, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery right.

I do not let my wife read this website.. Someone could return the opening kickoff back against the Steeles and she's screaming for the head of all the coaches.

WTF? How in the hell can you be "optimistic" with Mike Dumblin in charge? What has he ever done, besides win 1 Championship with a team that he did NOT build? It's not like this dude is going to wake up one day and become some great coach all of a sudden. He is what he is, and that is an AVERAGE NFL football coach. Nothing more, nothing less. To some of our younger Steelers fans, that's good enough. Many think that "in the end, we're all winners..."
I say f*** that. We play to win Championships, not fiddle-ass around and be happy just because we have a "Rooney Rule" coach. I don't care if we have a white coach, a black coach, a green coach...it matters not if he's winning SB's. What does matter is Championships in relationship to the number of paychecks Dumblin has cashed. It's just not a good enough ratio!

Mike Dumblin has had MORE than a chance to prove himself. Year after year, team after team. This team is far worse than the one he received in 2007, and it's not even close. If this Organization wants to keep a coach for political reasons or keep him employed simply because of the color of his skin, then I argue Artie II needs to revamp our Organizational Mission Statement, or step down. This team was founded, built, and set-up for the the people and fans of Pittsburgh, PA to enjoy...not for outside political forces. The Emperor set the standard high, and it's not going back in time. It's all about WINNING now. If Mike Dumblin is the best possible coach in this world that Artie II can obtain, then he's a POS owner, IMHO.

As for talking s*** about the Steelers, it's all about accountability. You spend money and time and effort as a fan of this Organization, then you have every right to complain about the product on the field. If this is good enough for you, then enjoy the Dumblin era to your heart's content. Shout to the mountaintops, "This is the best we can do..." If not, then do what you feel is right and just...if that means writing letters, calling talk radio, complaining, or booing the hell out of this average team we have on game day this year, then so be it...many folks have seen enough of Mike Dumblin, though, myself included. Every year we keep Dumblin is a year we don't find the next young Emperor...and that's a shame.

Thanks for the "likes" "dislikes" "agree" and so on, I didnt mean to contribute to a doom and gloom thread, but I do believe everyone can have an opinion , even if its always negative. This team has underperformed under Tomlin considering all the talent he has had over the years. The truth, "as I see it" , is that this team has many holes to fill and they are in places that are often overlooked but vital to success. For reference, the OL is horrendous....can they gel and surprise everyone, sure they can. The ILB are some of the worst in the league, can they suddenly play lights out and be dominant, absolutely, but until they show anything of the sort on offense or defense, we are in for a long frustrating season. Will we win some games, sure, but I believe we lose more than we win.....just my opinion as to what I have seen how this talent has performed on the field so far and in the past. As for the ones that think I am negative, I pick the Steelers to go 16-0 ( now 17-0 ) every year. I have been a fan for 52 years and I have seen the good the bad and the ugly.

I think the difference is you made a well thought post

    It is respected

Some dumbasses on here just post the exact same negativity over and over just to get attention or can’t actually make a well thought post

Many make posts others disagree with and it’s all fine

just skimmed through your book, I’ve been a Steelers fan for 43 years, I have had days where I say get rid of Tomlin, I also had days where I said get rid of Cowher. But bottom line is, at least cheering for Steelers, there is ALWAYS a chance of us going all the way.

I mean come on, think of all those other teams fans that can’t say that. How many has never been to the Super Bowl. How many has only made the playoffs a few times.

We have been spoiled for so long and no longer appreciate that every season, we have a chance.

We've tried this strategy the last two years to no avail. We screw up our draft position so management can brag about Tomlin never having a losing season. We should be in Championship or bust mode. I don't care about winning pointless games or making it to the playoffs just to watch them lose. Sick of it.

Sadly there's nothing that can save this current team from having a losing season. Rooneys, Goodell, tying games, etc. The jig is up. Maybe Tomlin starts to feel some real heat after this year.
