Madden's been around 32 years?

I must be ancient. I remember playing tecmo bowl.

 

First one was in '89 but in '90 they moved the franchise to Sega Genesis. I think the earliest I still own is '93?

 

This coaching staff and management haven’t been together one season yet.

Hopefully they’re just getting started, but can remain competitive.

My first Madden game was on the PC and there was no graphics...well there was X's and O's but the rest was text based. You would pick your play. The Xs and Os would move around and then just like the ESPN online play by play today a line would pop up like

BRISTER long pass to the right to Lipps tackled by Metcalf gain of 26




when that PS 2 Madden came out I was blown away by the visuals and gas to buy one

Yep, that's the '89 version.

 

You can keep defenses off-balance and camouflage the OLine by playing misdirection football and switching up the tempo. Shovel passes, draws and RB screens kinda help with this as well. Doesn't exactly mean it will work. But just saying.

 

Well there goes our 6th rd QB pick. Atleast we keep the 7th rd QB pick again.

 

I am sure that back up linebacker wins us the division this year and makes us super bowl contenders. We should trade claypool for a real offensive lineman. We have plenty of wrs and he is not disciplined anyway. That may actually help the cause . It’s frustrating watching lousy offensive football the last two years and gm does nothing to solve the problem and we had plenty of cap space this year. Averaging 2.8 yards a carry and the QBs running for their life is not a formula for winning football. Kc solved their bad line in five months. We are in year four so I blame management.

 

I can't say they have done nothing to TRY to fix the Oline, but what they have done is very underwhelming

I actually had Green on my list that year, but not as day 1 starter..i felt he was an athletic project which he is proving to be.

As for RIGHT NOW.... I'm not sure what they can do. I think Claypool is going to be good so I am not interested in trading him... plus it's going to take him plus picks and $$$ to get a real stud to start,c and honestly what good is a stud LT or LG going to do then when the other 4 guys are still being run over

I would bring in David Moore G/C that Cleveland just released and Jack Anderson G/C the Eagles just let go.

I think we are going to bandaid it up, but they got to really invest in it next year

Well sh!t, let me get in on this beatdown as well. 20 years of keeping track of how many plays little Billy gets so you can avoid having his mom Karen biatch you out after the game because he only got 5 plays instead of 6 isn't much of a qualification. But by all means, please regale us with tales and accounts of your football coaching prowess.

I had an actual football coach tell Me there wasn't a different in the hash marks from High school- the NFL....that all three were the same. LoL

 

It’s easier to kick a short field goal in the pros than in high school

 

Also why some plays won't work in the NFL like they do elsewhere.

 

Hash marks on fingertips. Somebody had to stick it on the pin going through cardboard under the cup.
