Seemed popular in a thread where it wasn't supposed to be at. Always up for talking about these things, as well as fishing, hunting, camping.

As has been said, I have a '68 Camaro, Crestliner fishing boat and my everyday beer is Founders All Day IPA. Definitely an IPA guy but dig the occasional Old Fashioned.

Not a car person. If it was possible I'd never drive again. Live in a huge fishing area, commercial and regular guys casting from the rocks. I gave it up long ago for golf. Hate IPA beers. Then again my stomach has failed me as I got older. I drink Coors Light or as my friends call it, glorified water.

Only one thing you and I have in common is the Steelers:) I do enjoy your post because it reminds me of what I always say when I see a young hot lady, "it's good to be young."

Well, I guess if you consider 50 young.......
I love to golf. Just don't get the time to do it much with all of my other hobbies. What area do you live in? I'm guessing your courses are better than the ones here in Iowa

My bad, I had you in your 20's. I'm South and I mean South Jersey. 5 miles from where the Atlantic meets the Delaware Bay. We have a lot of great courses and they are pretty much all mine for 6 months a year. We get winter but most the time it's not so bad. Don't get a lot of snow so around March the Philly people who miss golf drive down to play.

I consider anything younger than Me young, and anything older than Me....Old. LoL
I Myself only drink Guinness, or beers crafted in that way.
I had a 1990 Ranger bass boat, a Colman Crawdad, and a 80s Aluminum Tracker. Only owned one car in My life...a 70 Chevy Malibu ....the rest have been all Jeeps, and Pickups.

When I was younger, I had a '68 442. 4 speed. Loved that car but, had to get rid of it when gas got to $1.00/gal. More recently, I restored a '67 442 and sold it some years later. I've been a yacht Captain for 44 years now on everything from 37' sportfishers to 130' tri-deck "booze cruisers" I still don't get to fish as often as I would like!
I gave up beer 35 years ago but, when I did drink it, it was Corona, Pacifico, (chocolates and vanillas) Killians, I kinda liked Michelob and Moosehead.

Believe me, I used to drink more than my share! I quit all alcohol about 20 years ago. Too many peers tipping over recently

I said it in the other post as well but I think that applies more to pleasure boats. My fishing boat costs very little to maintain aside from fishing equipment.

Where I am is 20 miles from the closest launch ramp and that's in San Diego bay. I can't think of any of the local lakes that will still let you launch your own boat (quagga mussels and other bugs, besides the drought).

Meaning you can't even take your own boat on there? Do you have to rent one?

yep. One of my favorite trout lakes only has boats with electric motors. Not very powerful electric motors. Quite an adventure going into the wind!
There are bigger lakes in the counties to the north that allow you to launch your own boat but, they are quite a ways north of me.

I fish a couple of lakes around here where you can only have a 9.9 hp motor. Not everyone plays by those rules.

Now, it looks like I go to Ketchikan mid-September to bring a boat back to Seattle. Maybe they'll have fishing equipment.....

We have a few lakes in Arkansas that You can't have any motor. Period. I tube fish those, or use 2.

No. You have a seat that wraps around a inner tube, and Your legs go through. You can wear flippers , or special shoes for it. Works great for getting in good spots. Unless Your afraid of snakes, and Gators. LoL
