I've been watching Hard Knocks on HBO. This year it's the Detroit Lions. They go into the locker room after practice and you see young men built like brick poop houses and then you see what most would describe as a fat out of shape men. These are the lineman. I tip my hat to them the way they can move so fast being that damn heavy.

For what it's worth I like their Head Coach, Dan Campbell. Seems like a great level headed Coach. I'd love for the guy to win that division, kicking the Packers ass twice!!!

Good question. He seems to be pretty gutless on the field.

At least Edmonds seems to be taking it on as a challenge. Bush is just whining eating twinkies.

I liked the hire hoping it would take away Tomlin calling the defense and helping Austin as well. He was just soft shoeing with the media. Tomlin probably instructed this, keep it behind closed doors. A blind man could see that Bush is done and we see he is splitting time with Spillane and hopefully soon Robinson.

Here in Arkansas that's the cheap beer. It's strange in different places I've lived ....how from one place 2 another the cheap beer changes.....in Texas it was Coors...
In Chicago it was Budweiser....,and so on...

Stroh's and Schlitz beer was all the rage back in the 80's. First time I ever got drunk was from drinking warm Stroh's beer, summer after 8th grade. Drank 5 and puked.

5 Warm Strohs and you're still alive? You must be one tough son of a gun. Even ice cold Strohs could make you puke.

Yeah... Stroh's was nasty skunk beer. If I drank one now, I'd probably disintegrate and spontaneously combust.

Mad Dog 20/20 made me puke several times. I can't believe I was dumb enough to drink that crap. Mad Dog was wine coolers on steroids.... :roflmao:

Speaking of Mad Dog, I remember there was this drink called Cisco back in 80's and early 90's... it was "bum wine" and referred to by many as Liquid Crack. I was dumb enough to drink that once, too. :lolol:

Another terrible alcoholic beverage is any kind of Malt Liquor.... Colt 45, Mickeys, Private Stock, etc.

Bacardi 151 was pretty much legal moonshine back in the day.

I started on Miller Genuine Draft. Not sure I could choke one down nowadays. Also the occasional jungle juice with Kool aid and everclear.

Evan as a kid I drank Iron City over Stroh’s

My buddies dad bought Stroh’s because he knew we wouldn’t drink it.

MD 2020 was my first drunk as well. I was 17 and just showed up at Ft. Hood Texas. I walked to the liquor store on base and asked the guy what was good. He asked how much money I had. I told him 9 dollars. He sold me 2 bottles of MD 2020 for 5 bucks. I got falling down drunk in the day room. Great stuff!!!!

At this point, if they put Kendrick Green at ILB and Devin Bush at LG, I'm not sure it would be any worse.

Finally a subject the Drunk GM is an expert at.

Boone's Strawberry Hill... cause when you are in high school and trying to get the ladies drunk that's what you drank.

And if you were cool you did 80 deep with some OE Malt Liquor!!

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Bitches!! That's how we rolled back in the 90's

Does anyone remember Brass Monkey? I mention it now and no one remembers it. Part Rum, Part Vodka and part orange juice. That was one of my favorites way back in the day along with MD2020.

First drunk was when I was 14

I was the ring leader as usually

I found a guy to buy us a gallon of Catawba Pink wine.

A few of us drank maybe half of it one night.

Word got around everyone wanted in.

I told them if you wanted in you had to raid your dads liquor cabinet and bring a contribution.

Then I mixed the wine with whiskey Kailua crème de menthe rum gin

We drank it behind the red garages where we could hide

There was an ice storm that night

We all walked around falling down and barfing
