Giving up to soon. I'm hoping Pickett is the future and we have him as long as we had Bradshaw and Ben. (same results wouldn't hurt) :) IMO this season is a wash. Trub and Mason are not going to be the QB of the future. It's a learning year for Kenny and I pray the O-line doesn't let him get eaten alive.

Let’s hope they get better. It takes some games to gel and come together as a unit. Remember theses guys haven’t played together as a cohesive unit yet. O lines take time to come together, trust each other and play as one. It’s going to take some games. I do not like the coaching choices since Munch left and Coaching matters!

This has the potential to be the worst OL in Steelers modern history, but rest assured it will be the fault of our assistant coaches, NOT Mike Dumblin! Never, ever, ever in my life have I seen a football coach NOT be held accountable for his job than Dumblin. I'm sorry if this hurts peoples "feelings", but this is Dumblins' baby, not our offensive coaches. He's been here since 2007, and yet nothing is ever his fault. Many of us are in the prime of our lives, wasting hopes and dreams and goals and energy and time on an AVERAGE football coach...no, strike that, a VERY AVERAGE football coach.

There gets a point in a man's life when drinking brew to stop the hurt from Dumblin's failures is NOT fun anymore, it's depressing. God, family, work, choosing right over wrong, being a good person, etc. may be more important, true, but some of us also live and die by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and winning is EVERYTHING. Not sure that it is for Artie II, though. At any rate, better load up on the suds, because we're in a long, dark, and grey era of Steelers football, and we have a current owner that thinks Dumblin is some kind of "great" coach...and it's painful to think about how much longer it could go on.

I mean this is a little over the top but he’s not wrong. MT apologists are beyond pathetic at this point. How many more years with 0 playoff wins do people need to see? 5? 10? At what point is enough enough?

has the season started? i missed that. we didn't win a playoff game this year again? missed that too. didn't we just replace near everybody in the front office and scouting department? defensive coordinator? new coaches? got rid of our long time franchise QB? drafted a new one in the first round? made many changes to players? 2 whole preseason games. didn't hear all this after the first one either. wait. didn't we win them both too? hi my names macdaddyo and i'm a drunken steeler fan.

Matt Nagy make the playoffs twice in 3 seasons with Mitch as QB and the o-line in Chicago was not good...Nagy must be a legendary head coach.....

correct - Rooney liked the mediocrity and shows it year after year with rewarding it.

DJ, my point was not to be over the top, but just point out how things have changed under Mike Dumblin. The Emperor gave us the standard of Super Bowls, and now Dumblin & his loyalist have the standard of "non-losing" seasons for the Steelers...and I say, "F*** that!"

The excuses from our Organization and some in our fan base are just funny, too...ie., "It was Cowhers fault...it was Ben's fault...it was the front offices fault...it's the assistant coaches fault...it was Colbert's fault...it was Bill Billichumps fault...it's Blake Bortles, Tim Peebow, and Bakers Mayfields fault because they are great QB's, etc., etc., etc....where does it end for these people and their excuse machine?

I've seen many polls indicating Steelers' fans are knowledgeable about football over other teams' fans, but I'm just not sure anymore...this infatuation with thinking Dumblin is some "great" coach is mind-boggling to me, and I'm not sure what these people are seeing that I (and many others) are not. It's like, every game we lose, some people don't HURT anymore, they just start making excuses for Dumblin. That dude has cashed a boatload of paychecks from this Organization, yet delivered only 1 Championship, and that was predominantly with a team he did NOT build. Now, it's gotten to the point I'm doing something I never thought I would as a Steelers fan...questioning our OWNERSHIP!

Yea I have said before I really shouldn’t hate on MT so much because it’s not his fault he is allowed to continue with the same BS every year. He’s not going to fire himself. The real blame falls on this crappy version of a Rooney. The MT fanboys on here are pretty funny and very exposed at this point. How people can’t see what a fraud he is it’s beyond me.

People say he would get another job instantly and they are probably right. Hopefully it’s in the AFC and we play whomever in the playoffs because you know he isn’t winning in the playoffs.
