It was a million degrees with 99% humidity.
The food tasted horrible and the drink prices were sly high. More Steeler fans than max. game thoughts were it’s going to be another long season on offense with that o line. We can’t run for a yard ever and the left tackle did not even slow down the rush on any play. If you placed a cone in our left tackles place, the d end might slow down not to step on it compared to that stuff at left tackle .
Mason is dink and dunk and has never been the same after ravens hot. He plays scared.
Mitch is great at escaping rush which he will be doing all season. Pickett is looking like a mini burrow so far but I would wait until after New England game to start him. Play him for Cleveland game and take our lumps with a rookie this year and draft a first round o lineman and pay for a real left tackle

My sister and brother in law live in Jacksonville. It's a miserable climate even in the winter.

If we can get a fifth round pick for Rudolph, unload him. You're not going to get much more than that IMO.

I live in Georgia. This humanity sucks. Not just summer but in winter when it's 50° feels like 25°. And when it gets 30° it feels crazy cold.

While in pittsburgh i could wear shorts when it was 30°.

We will see how it plays out, but if you are making the change I'd do it after the Browns Thurs night game. Extra few days to prepare, home game against the Jets. Just feels right...though if the line plays like that he may be forced in because of ijuury..yikes

LoL. Preconceived a little bit. Mason has went down the field more than Trubisky this year. Hell all Trubisky has scored has been 2 a guy 16 yards open. We haven't even seen him make one real score yet.
Mitch also threw behind the line of scrimmage 2 of His whole 5 completions. Yet ....Mason is dink ,and dunk. LoL

    My thought

    An hour beforev game

    3 hour game

Another 30 to 60 minutes to let the stadium clear

Roughly 5 hours..... how much pee do you think is in that pool?

Not a lot to love about either guy. Would still rather have the guy with some mobility who can scramble. That sure as hell isn't rudolph.

All 3 QBs have played good but not great. I've yet to see any boneheaded INTs. The highlight reel from the Jax game featured all offensive plays and TJ Watt's sack on Lawrence. I'm more worried about the Oline than QBs.

Way I see it is if the O-line can just be middle of the road we will have a running game and a running game would really make our QB situation better.

I guess that old adage is true, football games are decided in the trenches.

Not to pile on, but I’ve decided they shouldn’t play Pickett until the offensive line is better. He’s not going to learn anything positive if he’s constantly bobbing, weaving, and being sacked.

Trubisky has been stellar. He put on a near perfect performance against Seattle. Against Jacksonville he continuously escaped impossible situations. He had guys in the backfield as he was taking the snap. If that was Mason he would have been sacked and probably fumbled on at least 3 of those plays.

And I'm not saying that Pickett hasn't been better. Honestly he probably has. I'm just saying that Mason panics under pressure and Trubisky doesn't. The only conversation to have at this point is between Pickett and Trubisky. Rudolph isn't going to be the guy.

Everyone of the Pittsburgh sports media is saying that it is a foregone conclusion that Rudolph will be traded this week.

I hope so for Mason's sake. Mason deserves to go somewhere where he has a legit shot of at the very least being the immediate backup. Trubisky and Pickett are going to be the top 2 guys here. I wish Rudolph the best wherever he goes. Maybe if he gets himself in the right situation he will surprise everyone.

So, I wonder what we do if we get rid of Mason and either one of the other two gets carted off the field due to piss poor OL protection? Do we wish we still had him, or go find another bargain basement displaced QB and hope it works out? I ask this only because it seems that the likelihood of our QB getting banged up is a fairly real possibility. With putting the cart before the horse draft philosophy, we seem to get skill players and hope they can produce with a line that is like a sieve. With guys like DeCastro/ Pouncey we did the right thing with prioritizing our draft picks for the OL. Now it seems we're piecing together a line from wherever they can find players and hope they can gel after X amount of games. JMO>

Very few teams have 3 legit QBs on their roster. Some don't even have a solid QB2. They drafted Oladokun. Let him be the #3 and develop him. I would hate to see Mason waste away as a QB3. He is a better player than that.

Has someone ever drafted 3 or more of the same position in a draft?

Panicking under pressure is exactly what Trubisky has done .....Again people....twice that He took off He had players open ....before He took off, but He never seen them....because He does the same as complained about in Chicago.....He watches the rush. All I can say is go back and watch. Only one time did He take off , and not have a guy He could have thrown 2 before He took off.
You know one of the reasons for a check down right. Especially one with nobody on them.
People think I say this because I want Rudolph 2 start. I don't.....I want Pickett 2 start. I say this because in all reality.....Trubisky is not a bit better than Rudolph...they are about even....what one sucks at the other is good at..., and what one is good at the other sucks at, but We could have used that money somewhere else.
    That is all.

Yes , and everyone of the sport media said We didn't go down the field because Ben didn't want 2 , not because He had no time, also some said We don't run a FB because of Ben....seen a lot of the FB since He's gone???
All I'm saying is they are often incorrect.

Everybody wants Pickett to be QB1. I have no problem with Trubisky becoming Batch/Leftwich 2.0. Extend him to a cap friendly deal if he wants to stay in Pittburgh as QB2. Trubisky is better suited to the current Steelers offense than Rudolph due to the crappy O-line.
