No, I said those WRs were probably wide open. Mitch was just running for his life as soon as they snapped the ball though.

Agree to disagree then good sir!

There is literally zero depth behind whomever starts at Left Guard for differing reasons; Dotson being the case of not being healthy and Green simply not good enough to be an NFL starting Guard. As stated before, at worst, Davis is depth. Regarding Mason, he will be here for one season anyhow and has maxed out his potential. He is a backup at best I am afraid.

That said, even backups have value. Furthermore, all it takes is one team to plunge. I just hope that, if not Mason, Pittsburgh can acquire some Offensive Lineman help because the way that this unit is constructed will see to it that both Mitch and Pickett will land on IR sooner than later.

I definitely agree that we need help on the OL. Probably going to have to take a bigger swing at it though.

Funny, either you or I watched the wrong game if you are saying the offensive lines played great and Mitch had plenty of time to throw the ball down field to the open WRs.

Not counting the other open target...
He had a freaking check down on one just staring at Him wide open....that's what check downs are freaking for.

I’m saying he didn’t stare down the receiver on every throw like you’re saying.

Not even counting the other targets....He had a freaking check down staring at Him wide open....that's one of the whole reasons for a freaking check down, but Trubisky never seen it. He just looked at the rush , and took off.

I'm open to packaging Mason with a 2nd or a 3rd to get IOL help. Obviously there needs to be a partner to make such a deal. I'd rather see Bush take lumps at ILB than see Green take one more snap.

Or hopefully get lucky again a la Joe Haden. That said, I seriously doubt lightning is going to strike twice there.

Explain why you are making things up after criticizing someone for making things up.

So the Vikings picked up QB Nick Mullens from the Raiders for a conditional seventh round pick.

Maybe Rudolph could be worth a sixth or at most 5th?

We were very close to gettiing a deal done wiith the Lions an inside source told me. They put Mason on the phone with Dan Campbell and Dan was asking some questions. He asked if Mason really did call Myles Garrett a slur. When Mason denied it, Dan hung up the phone. Not high T enough he said.

How so? I would argue Mullens has played/ is playing much better than Rudolph...He started a lot more games than Rudolph in his career...

How is Rudolph gonna fetch more ?

I don't know about that. They are both equally terrible, IMO.

he was a dunce for signing an extension to stay here. I suspect he regrets that move every day. Maybe he’ll never compete for a starting job elsewhere, but he surely ain’t competing for one here.

If you add a cup of sewage to a barrel of wine, you get a barrel of sewage.
If you add a cup of wine to a barrel is sewage, you get a barrel of sewage.

Trade the 2nd or 3rd for OL help, if you want; but tossing in Mason doesn’t up the value much

If he said the game is meaningless, I think he should be fired on the spot.
