With this O Line, I say start Trubiski. I like what I see with Pickett but we need him for the long run.

They swapped some pieces on the O-line...I think Green was out for Kenny's time

Spillaine is having a good game.. Surprised at his play this year. He looks pretty good.

Yeah, but Mitch didn`t have Pickens to throw to. Still, I have to say Pickett looks awesome. Like a seasoned vet.

Feeling really good about getting him in 1st round.

Don't get me wrong, not saying he looked great but if you think he looked bad against that d line, how would Mason have done?

I like Trubisky. I do not blame him for tonight. if anything he showed he can get away for a failing line (except one play where he stayed in the pocket).

I do really like pickett more than what I thought going into this season. Because I was really thinking of having him sit for the year to learn. but now I wish he would have started tonight to see how he could have done against a better D.

    Trubisky had to run. Period.

The OL was atrocious to start. I don't know if they righted the ship or the d backed off. The OL did seem to change when Warren got a series. Didn't look swift on picketts first series but, better on the second. Still, he was hit or nearly hit every play of the TD drive.

Yeah that wasn't the case in this instance though. Our OL got abused hard early and Trubisky ran for his life. TBH if it was Ben last year he gets sacked 4 times to start the game. Trubisky went down once. I liked what I saw from him. It would've been nice to see what he can do with better protection, but unfortunately it just wasnt there tonight.

Pickett had to get rid of the ball in milliseconds and did not panic. He looks real.

So, Mason is in for the third and Oladokun in the fourth?

True. I didn't think Lawrence looked sharp. Missed a few open receivers that NFL QB's have to hit. Not a great look.

That being said KP looks great so far. Loving what I'm seeing. I am so glad we took him and not any of the other QB's

I can't wait till the replay.
I was just going by Jags sight, and I believe the D line was exactly the same.

Nah, tbh I want to see Kenny in the 3rd. Mason can get a series or two in the fourth. Oladokun might see one or two as well. We need to keep letting Pickett get reps. He's growing with every rep since the start of camp. Let the kid play and improve

...but it always seems that way with slow responding Qbs...., or guys that rather run 1st. Replay will show more.

He most certainly does. It's hard not to be excited about his future.

Trubisky deserves a ton of credit tonight. The guy made impossible plays just to avoid sacks. I'm not sure why hes taking heat for those plays.:shrug:
