A non-losing season definitely isn’t the ultimate goal, but to not have a losing season in almost 20 years it’s pretty damn impressive.

    And still remain competitive.

That's the key, sometimes they didn't look good, but they won enough games!

    It is very impressive.

For some reason I am very optimistic this season. Unusually so.

That is a bad sign. Dammit I had high hopes this season. Oh well, there is always next year.

What's more impressive is that the Steelers lead the second place team (the Chiefs) by 9 years.

This is a Steelers record that also covers several years under Cowher.i’m with you though, the lack of playoff wins is quite frustrating.

Regardless that not all those seasons turned out as hoped that is an impressive record. I take pride in that!

Pittsburgh related, the Penguins have made the Playoffs 15 straight years and the Pirates got added to the Webster dictionary as a description for the word "suck".

I admit I share your sentiments. It is absolutely a impressive stat especially when put in comparison to all the other teams. But complacency leads to mediocrity. I feel like they should have had a couple more Lombardi's in that time and definitely more playoff wins in the last 10 years.
