I wish I can vibe like this. But after seeing that Devin Bush interview, I'd like to trade him to some European semipro team by a military base. I like Mason and Claypool. But Bush can play Aussie Rules Football for all I care.

Was shocked when I heard the boo birds come out when Mason took the field. I don't think he is the answer either, but I would not boo the man. Don't care if Mason turns it around as Id rather Trib or Pickett, but I do hope Bush/Claypool figure it out this year. Both have big upsides with potential and have flashed that potential, but so far have been lack luster.

 

Made Me sick....As long as they are wearing the Black, and Gold ....I will not boo them...

I agree. I tend to root for the player and not the person. There's countless instances of a player being a scumbag but as long as he performed on the field, I didn't care. I think the booing for Mason was terrible. Mason handled these past few months with class and dignity. I'm not a fan of Mason the player, but I think he's a good guy. Like I see Chase as a tad bit immature, but who wasn't immature at 23/24. I was going bar hopping in Europe at his age doing stupid ish. With Bush it is just different. He just seems like he just doesn't care. However, to Bush's credit, he stayed after practice getting in extra reps today, so maybe he's totally not a lost cause. I can't hate someone I've never met. I'm more disappointed. I was one of the guys giving him the benefit of the doubt this spring thinking he'll be turning things around, even posted such thoughts on this board.

 

I'm rooting for Bush, but I can't stand the guy. He comes across as entitled and delusional when he speaks. On the field, he is still hesitant, seemingly afraid of contact. He seems to think he can keep getting paid for his physical talent without putting himself in harm's way by doing his damn job.

 

False dichotomy. I want every Steelers player to be great. But I can still have faves.

 

One of my good friends was at the game Saturday night. Said he had a great time, I was totally disgusted with the disrespect of people booing Mason Rudolph.

 

I've witnessed some nasty things at Philly sports events, I would hate for the Burgh fans to do stuff I've seen. Although if the Steelers go south early with Trub under center I could see the boobirds calling for Pickett.

 

Unfortunately I can see the calls for Pickett even if Trubisky is performing greatly. I think Mitch is in a no-win situation with the fans.

Agree with that sentiment. I remember going to the Tenn game last year at Heinz and Harvin was getting booed while his Dad was in the stands getting to see his son play for the last time in his life. It was really sh!tty and I recall posting about it here and some folks were basically saying: don't suck and you won't get booed.
