Playing guard should make a big difference for Green

Everyone seems to be forgetting that Rudolph did indeed lose his job to Duck Hodges. During a Bengals game we were losing at halftime when Tomlin benched Rudolph and Hodges led us to a come from behind victory. Rudolph didn't win his job back until several weeks later when Hodges was ineffective against the Jets.

He didn't play against us when their RB ran all over us....Hmmm.....Well then I was wrong.
I understand that the more mobile a Qb the less that Qb actually reads the field.
I know people will throw Mahomes out there, but Mahomes runs less than people think...He has run for less than 400 yards every year, and no more than 2 tds in a year.
He scrambles 2 throw....big difference than scrambling 2 run. No????

From what You just said....If the Steelers thought Rudolph couldn't throw......why did they ask Him 2 throw 50 ,or more times in the rain against Detroit last year???
Just doesn't seem like something I would do with a Qb I didn't trust 2 throw.

With only one Qb on the team.....I personally can't say I really know what they would have done.....besides get more Qbs.
It's not like they spent big money on Trubisky, or traded for him.

Yep. Hopefully the STD guy will read this, put 2 and 2 together and deduce as to why many of us have seen enough of Mason.

Rudolph was never the same after that massive illegal hit he took in Baltimore.

The Steelers rushed him back into the lineup and it showed.

    IDK about rushing him

We would have to be in the meeting talking to him to know

But yes he was not the same

Maybe without big dumb out of the way he can now blossom

Arguing over who is better Mitch Trubisky or Mason Rudolph! What a time to be alive….

News flash they both suck and Kenny Pickett should have been taken in the third round at best.

Put Pickett on the LSU squad that borrow had and the conversation would be very different in my opinion

Feels like de je vu considering that both Mitch and Kenny outperformed Mason again today. It really doesn't mean much due to zero preseason games played yet..

So you are saying Pickett will be as good as smoking Joey B?

On a side note did that trade for Burrow ever go through??

I don't need anyone showing Me anything. I've been watching the Steelers since the 70s ,and haven't missed a single second of a game since 1997.
I showed everyone Trubisky had 22 freaking games he didn't pass for 300 yards for. Hell He went a whole season without throwing for 300 yards once. He also has 21 games He didn't even pass for 200 freaking yards, but for some people this only matters when Mason does it. LoL...Whatever

Actually, the news flash is that you don't have any clue how Pickett will pan out. But by all means stick your chest out and try to fool somebody into thinking you do.

I think it was more - 'and we still don't have anyone on the roster'. I don't think anyone actually thought Haskins was going to do anything with us since he didn't show anything to prove otherwise. Just hopes and wishes. At least that was what i was thinking then and sticking with.

You mean like starting Rudolph against Cleveland in our final game a few years ago?

That I choose not to keep making excuses for him does not make my posts about Rudolph misleading.

Also, Roethlisberger wasn't supposed to be the starter his rookie season. He wasn't supposed to play at all. Your excuses for Rudolph simply don't hold up.
