It is a great signing for arguably a top 10 receiver.

I mean in the near future. The Steelers aren't gonna keep Claypool. DJ and Pickens will be 1a and 1b by the time smooth brain claypools time is up here. Austin looks to have the tools to probably be the 3rd guy. Pickens and Austin will still be on rookie deals too.

I really like the deal. It's minimal investment . It's kind of a prove it deal but not really . He has 3 years left with the Steelers. I give him a 25% chance to resign with Pittsburgh .

He either prices himself out, or becomes an afterthought.

He could be extended if he's still serviceable but not getting a lot of offers elsewhere.

Either way, we have him for the remainder of his "productive" years at a pretty fair rate.

Slam dunk Omar. He's killing it so far.

So you want to ruin the NFL. Why even root for the Steelers if you like that model to run things. Just become a Cowboys or Patriots fan. They will be the teams making the Superbowl every season.

If the NFL ever did away with the Salary cap you can count this fan as being done with the NFL for good. The only two good leagues left in sports are NHL and NFL. All others have been either ruined by having no cap or they are just flat out boring.

You need to read up on the history of the nfl to better understand why it is what it is and why baseball and hockey are not

This is pretty much the information what almost there link said when searching for why the nfl got a salary cap "Several sports leagues have implemented salary caps, using it to keep overall costs down, and also to maintain a competitive balance by restricting richer clubs from entrenching dominance by signing many more top players than their rivals."

I personally wouldn't mind seeing a few teams dominate and the rest trash. That's honestly why as of late I've enjoyed the nba somewhat more then the nfl.

For a so called Football Analyst you sound like Gilligan believing he's smarter than the Professor and thinking Mrs. Howe is hotter than Mary Anne.:no2:

I could see Mrs. Howe being hot after 5 or 6 beers. Mary Anne on the other hand.............. Mary Anne was hot after a glass of water. Might have been one of my first TV crushes.

I think my first TV crush was the Brunette from Silver Spoons / Buck Rodgers.

We definitely need an Erin Gray tangent rather than more of FootballPlagiarist showing us how little he knows and that he really isn't even much of a Steelers fan.

That honestly sounds boring. What enjoyment could you get out of 5 dominate teams and 27 terrible teams?

You need to go back to letting other people think for you

Doing it on your own doesn’t seem to be your strong point

So what do you plan to do when your eligibility is up

Are you on schedule to graduate on time

Right now he is our #1 and I feel the deal was not a killer. So lets move on the receiver room is not an issue.

I don't think you needed to splash water on her shirt to feel that way.

I always preferred Adama's Daughter Athena from the original Battle Star. Shame they didn't bring back any of the main female characters from the original series.

Nearly every year there is one team in the nfl that comes out of nowhere. They don't always get fat in the play offs..last year cicny went to the sb. As much as I hated that it was the gals..it keeps my interest.
