From the reports Austin caught a screen pass and scored a 60 yard TD, and Pickens had a 45 yard catch.

I saw the interview with Calvin Austin after practice. He caught a screen pass, saw a sliver of daylight and exploded through the crease and out sprinted everyone for the TD.

It wasn't pretty, but at least he is out there.

I am assuming there will be no contact for a while longer by the way he was moving.

And having to follow TJ in that drill, didn't do him any favors.

Let's hope he has learned to catch the ball, and stop falling to the ground on every pass thrown to him.

Yeah, me too. And Austin. I heard Mark Kaboly say today that Pickens is everything Claypool is supposed to be. Says both he and Calvin Austin have looked great so far.

Kaboly also said he thinks the defense will surprise people. I hope he's right. I'm still raw about how easy it was for some teams to run against them last year.

I'm actually anxious to see the whole team. There's been a lot of turn over from the end of last year. Can't wait for pre-season football. For once.

What took you so long? Maybe this is why AZ Cardinals put clause in Kyler Murray's new steal?Or deal?

This is typical DJ. No one has ever questioned his work ethic.

DJ is just like TJ Watt when he did his in-camp holdout.

Actually he's not, everybody knew TJ was going to get a new contract, DJ not so much.

No reason for DJ to come to camp unless the Steelers are talking to him about a new contract.

If the Steelers have ever said "No new contract" to DJ, then we would have heard his trade demands. So, far I have heard nothing from DJ about demanding a trade. This tells me a new contract is coming soon.

What ever happened to his fill in when his dad passed last year? He was a better punter.

He was more consistent short term

Pressley has significant more long term potential

And if my gray cells serve me Pressley got better towards the end of the season
