NFL+

It's the new streaming service for the NFL. At first glance it seems to roll a lot of the game pass features into it so I'm not sure if it will replace it. Anyone signing up for it? The are offering a 7 day free trial which is strange since the majority of the content won't be available for at least two weeks when the first preseason games start.

 

Unless they offer all 22 footage I dont see the point

 

I think coaches film and all-22 are part of the premium package that will run 9 dollars a month or 79 dollars for the year. Again this seems to be the way the league is moving and could be replacing game pass.

 

What is all 22

 

It is the breakdown of every play in the game with all available camera angles I believe. Korza uses it when he does tape breakdown for his site or YouTube videos.

 

The NFL brass is getting ready for the transition from DirecTV next season. This new thing will have the game pass and pre season games. The next Sunday Ticket holder will just get the games and still rob your @ss.

My wish is that they would just offer the Steelers or if your a fan of another team an exclusive package at half the cost just to watch your team. Although that would be a pipe dream it's all about the money.

 

I'm kinda hoping that is the way they are leaning with Sunday ticket and Apple TV showing interest in it. I can tell you I watched more ESPN content once I signed up for ESPN+ then I had in the previous ten years. Sell me a season package of all Steeler games I'll pay 100 bucks for it.

It was hell on Earth for those of us outside the USA to even obtain actual, lag-less games and never mind All 22 tape. I cannot imagine what the logistics will be now that the NFL has a full grasp on this now.

I got an email about this yesterday. I've had Game Pass for years. They are rolling my account right into NFL+ unless I cancel by Aug. 1. I am getting everything I used to have on Game Pass for $20 less, so I have no complaints.

 

$30 for the year is not bad at all. I wonder when that price expires.

Same here - I can't remember when something was offered for less for more content. I don't mind Game Pass since I was always delay-DVR'ing my Sunday Ticket Steeler games and Game Pass has/had 10+ years of archived games that Sunday Ticket never offered.

close. It’s also known as the coaches film. It’s all 22 players on the screen at the same time. That way you can see how a play develops. Any mistakes made by a player. How the defense responds to a play or formation…

Waiting to watch the games bothered me at first, but I got used to it. I've had people spoil the score for me here and there, but not too often.

Media was less and I could avoid papers at the time I lived in Denver. On Wednesday a vhs tape of the game would be in my mail. I and some friends would have a get together and party like it was live. We didn’t even fast forward through commercials or back up. If it was a close game we were as excited as if it was live.
