Off topic my friend but it's just a matter of time before the new Naming Rights Police start censuring this MB and auto correct your screen name to Acrisure Modified Whole Life. What may be even stranger is that a new 11,000 seat indoor sports and entertainment arena in Palm Springs CA will be mirroring the Steelers in name to be known as "Acrisure Arena". More bizarre - Ice Hockey in Palm Springs CA???? Someone is pulling my arbitrage!

1- Burrow made one of the worse teams in the league a play away from winning it all
2- We can trade any of our QB's and get a valuable pick back
3- How short is your memory. Cincy ownership sucks and they already did it once with Carson Palmer. There is your rebuttal METALMAN
4- That it worth trading a bunch of picks that MIGHT MAYBE turn out to be good players someday. For a young stud proven QB. Hell yea its worth it. There are no guarantees in the draft. We would never be irrelevant with a QB like Burrow and our GM and scouts proving capable in the past getting good players later in the draft. Plus free agents would want to come here
5- Name 1 QB in the league younger then Mahomes who is better than Burrow. There isn't

 

What's going to be your excuse if Burrow sh!ts the bed this year? I think you're getting multiple points of this conversation mixed up. Can Burrow be great? Possibly but that's no more of a guarantee than your assessment of draft picks. You keep bringing up Cincinnati's past blunders but they haven't had a quarterback with the potential of Burrow in a long time. Think of your own argument you are using here. Why would a team trade their can't miss future, your words, for ten draft picks where there are no guarantees? Why would a team be so stupid to trade a guarantee for 10 that aren't? Take off the Burrow colored glasses and look at this logically from both sides.

Bad analogy. For years, the Padres had the same reputation of being cheap. Then, they spend a gazillion dollars on Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis and others and are 12 games back of my Dodgers! Even Bengals ownership is smart enough not to get rid of the guy that got you to the SB.

He mentioned those three players specifically yesterday so your hope for Burrow heading to Acrinotsosureitsagoodname Stadium is very much a waste of your breath. Mike Brown mentioned his father, whom the stadium is named after, as if alive would be on board with selling the naming rights if it meant keeping his best players. If you know anything about Mike Brown. He's as stubborn as they come so to say that he is definitely listening to other people for a change.
