On History Channel starting Sunday night.
Actually pretty excited for it. LoL.

 

Is this going to be like their ancient aliens crap?

 

The one in Rome or L.A.?

 

I just watched the 1st episode of Moonhave, is that the History Channel?

The review are all over the place and that first episode really gets interesting in the last 5 minutes as everything gets turned upside down.

I still don't have a clue how Hippies living on the moon are going to save earth.

 

Hmmm. It's about Rome.

Thanks for mentioning this. I'll have to check it out. Nevermind, I see it's on AMC+ which I don't get and I refuse to pay for yet another channel I won't watch much.

 

The colosseum is amazing. To stand there and think of what went on in there blows my mind.

When I went to the Pope's place all I could think about was that bible quote, "a camel can pass through the eye of a needle easier then a rich man can get to heaven. Vow of poverty my ass!!!!!!!!!!

Yes about the Colosseum...I believe I read in one they had a record of over 500,000 people die in matches, execution, and games, and over 50,000 people would show up ,and watch. Wonder if they knew about CTE. LoL

 

AMC+ was and may still be running a deal for $12 a year. I had the same attitude and then discovered it was $1 a month.

 

My thing is I have AMC ....I already pay for. Why should I have 2 pay for another AMC....Same with Disney +, ESPN +, and any of those plusses. LoL. Show the dang shows on those channels instead of reruns of crap I've seen a billion times.
Really pisses Me off about ESPN +....I pay for like 3, or 4 espen channels on TV.....Then a boxing match I want 2 see comes on , and it's on ESPN +....while ESPN 1, 2, and 3 is showing cornhole tossing competition, or a women's softball match in its place.

 

I canceled cable and internet service back in November. Have been streaming everything via 5g ever since. I was paying $257 a month for cable tv and internet, but also paid for Netflix and prime. Hulu, Disney, and ESPN are included with my cellular plan so it only made sense to cut the cord. My initial plan was to go 90 days without Comcast so I could get their new customer rate of $50 per month, but 9 months later and Verizon still hasn’t throttled 5g service. /edit also have appletv as part of cellular plan

 

Saw the trailer for it and all I could think of was "Airplane". "Do you like movies about gladiators?"

 

I'll say one good thing about Comcast. We switched to their cell phone service and it is fantastic or should I say Comtastic. AT&T was 130 a month for two phones with minimum gigabyte's where Comcast is 35 dollars a month with more then enough giga's or whatever the hell they are.

Watch it yet? I taped it but only watched like 10 minutes so far.

 

When tuning into the history channel I’m looking for historical events. At some point they changed gears and became the channel of searching for Blackbeard’s treasure in an active volcano on snake island. Tune in next week when we find absolutely nothing!

 

LoL. You are correct, but it's sometimes entertaining, and they still do History. Like Colosseum last night was full of History, and written documents.

FYI. After the 3rd episode of Moonhaven, I am now in for the season. And, Yes on AMC+

 

F'n rubber boot. They got me again this year on Oak Island. After finding all those huge timbers I was sure that this would be the season they actually find treasure and then they find a modern Rubber Boot at 140 feet!!
Oh. Yeah; Spoiler my ass. Every time I come away feeling like an idiot getting my hope up that this will be the season they find something.

ancient aliens is the worst show ever to be on TV. I'm glad you enjoy it but man they think aliens did everything.

I said I find it entertaining.
In My humble opinion.....I believe man has been advanced many times through History, and Disasters by nature, and otherwise have caused us 2 have 2 start over many times.

 

I thought the 1st episode was pretty good. The whole ....they fought for over an hour was fantastic. I couldn't imagine it. F**k that . LoL
