    Free agency started and went

Now you are down to Joe Haden

No one left from free agency

Now Joe was a camp cut and sometimes a guy like that comes along. But you can’t count on it

It depends on what type of CB1 you're talking about, if they can find another Haden type with a 3 year 27 million deal, I don't see them paying a JC Jackson type of CB with a 80 million contract.

I think Larry Ogunjobi is a tremendous addition to the defense. I think he helps solidify our run defense a ton and will make Bush and Jack's life a tad bit easier. And Larry is young enough that he can give the Steelers 5-6 solid years. Steelers kind've low-key rebuilt their D-Line for the short and long term with guys like Wormley, Leal, Loudermilk, Adams and Ogunjobi all on the right side of 30. In the next couple of drafts, I'm not opposed to getting a DLman high in the draft, but I'm not as concerned as I was two days ago. Thing for me is in the short term, I'm not convinced that Alualu is the answer for the short term. Not say that's he's not going to step back into his role and not miss a step. I just have a lot of doubt and question marks, mostly due to his age and him coming back from that season ending injury. Ultimately, these guys up front don't need to be the greatest tacklers; they just need to take up space and blockers so guys like Bush and Jack get the tackles. If that happens, I think everything else for this defense opens up, especially getting teams in 3rd and long so Watt can do what he does best.

I like Loudermilk, Adams, Allula of course Cam we will have to see about Leal. Steelers are trying
to be competitive with our other AFC north opponents. They are trying to upgrade their talent. Only time will tell,
and the rotation that the coaches work these players in. This is key, situational football is key and I hope our coaches
    can handle this?

i think the D-Line is stacked full now. i'm not sure why we are neglecting the O-Line. specifically the tackle spot. at least with a guy that can be a better backup incase.

Not a Joe Haeg fan? I thought you were one when he came out back in 2016.

    Hmm... fair enough.

Not sure if there are any major names the Steelers can go and acquire. Andre Dillard maybe but he would have to be cut; something I just do not see happening in all honesty.

i didn't even know who heag was until he got here. wasn't me in 2016. Unless they see something from one of these UDFA's that they have aquired. they have gone that route before.

    Well...

As I said, I do not think there are too many swing tackle options available at the moment. Likely will not be either barring some unforeseen development moving forward either. Only other option the team has is a trade of sorts.

Question is, who would be available to trade for such a role?

I believe there maybe opportunities for a few different positions.....After cuts start taking effect. Someone that's still pretty good always gets cut for money, or other reasons .

there a a few still unsigned that might want to play another year or two. the closer we get to the season the less they may want to finish their career's out.

Better ILB play, play more physical football. Create more turnovers.

Know their assignments, and better tackling would be a big start.

All goes back to fundamentals and preparation. When you are making as much as these players and coaches are making
you would think these two qualities would be engrained in their minds?
