Just read on nfl.com that Ray Rice is sorry for the picture of him with a terrible towel draped over his head after the game. He says he meant no disrespect and that he actually traded his game worn gloves to a fan in exchange for the towel so he can hang it in his basement to cherish the memories of the rivalry. He also says he has been trading jersey's with other team members to hang in his basement as well. Do you guys think this is true or bs? Maybe Harbaugh made him reach out since he knows what type of bulletin board material something like that can create.

I am calling B.S. on that. I wouldn't give my towel to a ratbird for anything. Maybe that is just me.

He should have tried to get leftwitch's jersey since he handed them the game on a silver platter. Seriously though, that's one trade he's probably going to regret.

Yeah same here ,,He didn't wipe his "bleep" or blow his nose in it ..I believe he traded it like he said ..I have multiple TT's as i'm sure we all do..Only one is very sentimental ,,so i'd probably trade him for a pair of his game gloves ..I'd take a picture too

i believe him.. i mean he didnt step onthe towel like some have in the past.. he draped it over his head... how many athletes drape themselves in the american flag at the olympics and thats not a sign of disrespect.. i think the ravens and steelers hate each other but they do have respect for each other and the way they play the game hard.. i dont knw it ever was a dis thing?

Ray Rice seems like a decent guy. And hell, I've sat on my TT to keep my arse warm on cold game days.

I'm a pretty hardcore hater so I can honestly say that I probably wouldn't let him have it. Although maybe that fan was so disgusted that he just in a momentary lapse of sanity commited this act of treason. lol.

I don't buy it. The atmosphere on the Ravens sidelines wasn't one of 'respect for the rivalry' at the end of the game. It was originally reported that multiple Ravens players were wearing the towel, as well as singing Renegade on the way to the locker room. It smells a little like PR backpedaling to me. Just my opinion.

I guess it is what it is ,,pretty sure they all have a certain amount of respect for each other though..They do all that BS on the sidelines for the fans anyway
Heck ,i bet a lot of them called big ben to congratulate him today,,you know Lewis did

Nope, it would have to be more than some gloves from a Ratbird, I got/get plenty from Jerome Bettis since I see and talk to him often

I totally agree. And there is absolutely no way I would give my TT to a Raven player. No chance.
