How about not letting everyone just score every drive????
You just skip over the fact that the D couldn't stop B. Bortles, and that our offense was playing against the best D that year.
Go back and watch every playoff just last year, and see the teams that allowed scoring like that were out quickly.
Funny....I've never seen you ever blame a Qb before that had 5 tds - 1int.
Playoffs come, and magically we can't stop the run. You know this is true.
    Who will You blame now???

You skip over Ben turning the ball over twice early, gifting Jacksonville 14 points .

Exactly my point, there are HOF QB's who have had a losing season, Ben never had one. Credit Tomlin, credit the organization, whatever, what is true is that Ben hasnt had one. As for the Duck and Mason show a couple of years back, we had the easiest schedule in the league that year. You can credit Tomlin all you want, I will credit the players who are the ones adapting to what is actually happening on the field and making plays. A coach can only make a call prior to the play starting, after that its all on the athletes.

You skip over the fact that He was blindsided by that great D that Jacksonville had. No matter How You look at it....5 Tds by Your Qb should be more than enough. We will be lucky 2 get 5 TDS from our Qbs put together in a game. LoL.
    I'm sorry....I don't mean 2 jinx our Qbs. Hope I'm Wrong.

He still had 6 turnovers in the last two playoff losses, and the offense would start too slow, a franchise hall of fame type QB has to play better.

It was also Bens fault that Tim Tebow shredded the D in a playoff game. Bens fault the D in almost every playoff game since Cowhers players ( Troy, Aaron Big Snack Farrior etc) retired have been shredded too.

Ben didn’t play as well in the playoffs as he could have but the number 1 culprit and leader of these men is obvious to blame. Shocking that so many cannot see it. How many times do people need to see the same thing over and over before they wake up?

I'll let some of you in on a little secret, multiple things can be true about Tomlin. The rich tradition and standards of the Steeler organization have led us to certain expectations and not being ok with mediocre "non-losing" seasons and that's ok. Tomlin is a good coach but he may never be a great one. Maybe there will always be some small detail that keeps him from getting over the hump. Judging from what I've read on here, none of you seem to be able to put your finger on exactly what that is. We're left with incessant b!tching and petulant behavior. Regardless, Tomlin is a good coach and to say otherwise is simply ignorant. To say he may not get the Steelers another Super Bowl is not.

Exactly Ben underperformed based on his athletic ability maybe not based on his mental ability

Now imagine having Favre the last 5 years when you toss around the HOF quarterback phrase

Yeah because Farve won a lot of championships his last 5 years. LoL.
I believe it was ole Farve that threw that nice pick 2 Us(Steelers) ,and lost the game last time We played Him, and He had a great team that Year with the Vikings.
Also same Farve that threw multiple picks 2 end His last playoff game.

Right. Because those were Cowhers players he inherited and since they retired he has won Jack $&@$

Winning a lot of regular season games with a HOF QB is expected. When you reach the playoffs and play other good teams how has his performance been? I’ll wait.

You Tomlin fan boys are hilarious

    Not almost every playoff game.

    2015 playoffs - Bengals 16 points, Broncos 23 points
    2016 playoffs - Dolphins 12 points, Chiefs 16 points

And Cowher-led teams have been shredded in the playoffs too

    1993 - Chiefs 27 points
    1995 - Cowboys 27 points
    1996 - Patriots 28 points
    2002 - Browns 33 points, Titans 34 points
    2004 - Patriots 41 points

I don’t know why the statement is dumb. Those players were drafted and developed by Cowher. I’m not saying he was the best coach by any means but this is factual that Tomlin had his most success with those Players.

Why didn't Cowher win more with his own players then? He didn't even want to draft Ben .

When someone says that Tomlin inherited a SB team, he also inherited a team that just went 8-8 and the season before was the last seed in the playoffs.
