There’s a reason they haven’t released a decent record since his passing.

We use 2 cover this. It pissed the bass player off if We ever practiced it Because I would play the Bass parts at the beginning with Him. LoL. I just did it 2 make Him mad. Actually though when I learned it off the record....I thought the beginning was a Guitar.....so I learned it.

Same. I always thought the beginning was 6 string guitar and picked it out and have always played that bass part on guitar.

Same here, but I do believe some of that album still had influence from stuff Cliff had already been working on.
If You notice the biggest change came after the Justice album.

Just found out the new Megadeth album has been delayed again. It was supposed to be out in 2020, but COVID slowed it down. It was finally set for July 8th, and now it's been pushed back to September, but there's a new single being released on June 24th. I'm kind of bummed about that.

Oh yea. Cliff has song writing credit on To Live is to Die, I believe. Plus they were still so pissed off and angry about the crash, and that can make for a good metal record.

Justice is also my favorite Kirk Hammett record. The solos on One and Eye of the Beholder still floor me.

The stuff they would have put out though, if he didnt die, would have blown people away.

I love it when bands, or people in this case, do a cover and completely re-invent it. She took a cheesy 80s song and made it beautiful and haunting.

Elvis Presley: I want You/I Need You/I Love You.
I think this is one of My favorite vocals by Him.

This doesn’t belong here but I wasn’t starting a new thread for something this dumb

Back in the 70’s one of my friends passed out in the front of my buddies car. Windows up we cued up the song “Time” from Dark Side of the Moon on the cassette tape cranked the volume full blast closed the doors and watched

Poor guy woke up with his head and eyes going every which way

Time is the song with all of the alarm clocks going off in the beginning

That's pretty funny! If it had been me, I would have wanted to kill myself. Simply because it was Pink Floyd! :puking 5:

For you. I strongly dislike that band. Now, Tommy as the best album ever? I'm with you....

Not best ever, but it's definitely in the Top 25.
I've wore out 3 cassette tapes, one album, and have own 2 different CDs of that album.
