A long while back I frequented a restaurant/bar that Lynn Swann did years after his retirement. It was always odd to see him sort of chubby. At that time I was probably in as good of shape as he was. Right now I’m in as good of shape as a Basset Hound. Slightly less good looking.

I think that's the 1st time I heard someone comparing their shape with a Bassett Hound. LoL

I agree. Who are the hard-nosed current Steelers? Cam Heyward, TJ Watt, Najee. Anyone else? I hope Daniels becomes the leader of the o-line and sets a hard-nosed tone.

    You did win.

Our guy Mike has the 18th most wins in NFL history. A good season has him closing in on Paul Brown. Not sure how I feel about him catching Chuck Noll. I know Noll is top 10 but not sure how far apart they are????

    193 wins vs 154

Tomlin actually has a higher winning percentage than Noll

@steel machine@steel machine you should get my sarcasm, of all people, a Pirates fan. How far apart are Noll and Tomlin? They are 3 Super Bowl wins apart. The Tomlin Steelers are the football version of the St. Louis Cardinals in baseball. Tomlin has been effective at maintaining the Steelers Way, but he is not the Xs and Os genius to put a team over the top, nor does he hire assistants that can revolutionize the game. I am hoping Flores is a start in that direction.

Look where Noll was starting from. Subtract the 1-13, 5-9, and 6-8 his first three seasons. How about playoffs winning percentage? 16-8 vs. 8-9.

    Thanks!

    39. Well if he continues to keep his no losing season record intact he could get it done or close in 4 seasons. He is 50 and I would think he wants to continue coaching for awhile. I also believe he wants to stay right here in the Burgh.

Yes, but One took a looser franchise, and made it a Super Bowl franchise, and the other took over a team that just won a SB 2 years before.
Not taking away from Mike T.....but that's what makes C.Noll the Emperor .
