He was a reach. He wasn't a top graded player.

My son did the tantrum thing when he was a toddler. Screaming, crying, threw himself on the floor. I told him I was going to leave him and walked away. He stopped and ran after me in about 15 seconds.

Agreed, but I would say drafting a CB is the next in line of positions hard 2 draft.

I could probably agree with that. But I think the drop off from CB to qb drafting wise is massive. Qb is by far the hardest position to evaluate pre draft.

That is unless a pundit disagrees with him.

That may just be a function of two pundits disagreeing and he has to pick one

Agreed. It's not like he thinks for himself. The best was when he was stuck with either running away or claiming that J.T. O'Sullivan knew more about what it takes to play quarterback in the NFL than Kurt Warner. :lolol:

I know the Steelers under Colbert were not big on negotiating contracts during the season, but is there an NFL rule on this?

Could the Steelers let DJ play 4 regular season games this year and then decide to offer him an extension? Give him a try out to see how he responds to the new offense and the new QB and then make him an offer for his $20 million per season contract?

In Bob Labriola's Asked and Answered segments, he explained the Steelers position on doing contracts in season. They did it once, caused a bunch of jealousy in the locker room, and Dan Rooney vowed to never do it again.

    Steeler rule, no NFL rule

It’s just good practice. If there is not a drop dead date negotiations never get serious. Plus what would stop DJ from deciding after 4 games to quit playing

You need to start the season knowing who plans to be there for the long haul

    It’s a great Steelers policy

    You Love You some DJ.
I hope they wait until We see what He looks like with the Qbs We have. Not all Qbs look at the same Wrs., or even see the field the same.
You do know out of the whole time AB played here....When Ben was not playing....12 games...He had one ..100 yard game ,and No TDs....in 12 games with different Qbs.
So let's just wait ,and See what DJ does with our New Qbs.

You know I love dj..just not convinced he is worth top 5 money, though we really done know what he is asking either. If Chase takes that step and balls out this year you can't keep both. I think drafting 2 wr this year was a wait and see approach, jmho.

Not good; in fairness though, the report says that management company already refunded the families with additional credit. The management company is trying to recoup from DJ.

Surely He's going 2 pay them back. He would be a classless D!<k if He didn't, and I don't think He is(at least I pray He's not)

It appears the company reimbursed the buyers

I still think he owes the kids his time
