It's funny how we all assume that babies are only born on Sundays between 1 and 4. I think we are just naturally that pessimistic to think it would just HAVE to happen during a game or on a gameday. LOL.

Perhaps if it does turn out that way, they should take a page from the true fan playbook and induce that baby during the week! (I kid, I kid). :)

If you haven't seen the pic of the ultrasound go in to the "Ben's Baby" thread and check it out. I laughed for 5 minutes.

"OUR HOUSE" mentality The team needs to rally around leftwich and give him he support he needs the offense needs to keep him off the ground and give him time to throw also the Defense needs to play lights out and flush Flacco out the pocket where he is not very good we can win this game it will be close but we can. GO STEELERS

Yea and the Raiders were the worst team in the NFL. KC was also 1-7 with 29 turnovers. Its not about stats, its about heart, coaching, and wanting to win...something we let vary from week to week.

Just watching Ben Roethlisberger walking around Steelers headquarters today without his arm in a sling & it's hard to tell he's even injured

i think hes back for the next Ravens game. i think it was killing him watching his team lose that game. im sure it killed him watching Lefty throw a bounce pass to a wide open Gilreath on that last drive also.

if hes healthy enough with no threat of being stabbed in the heart by his own rib, than i say hes playing.

Ive said the same thing in another tread but you have folks on here that act as if they did the diagnoses themselves and will tell you "no way". He needed to sit 3 games, clowns game will make it almost 3 since he missed a lot of the KC game... IJS

Don't have to diagnose him to know that Ben doesn't sit our games unless he is in bad shape and or that the injury is life threatening as was reported. When he will be back is anyone guess but the proof that it's a bad injury is staring people right in the face because he's not playing. He's probably not in much danger walking around headquarters unless Gilbert is around but playing in a game with the likely hood of being sacked is probably very dangerous for him.

Yeah I think the people that are thinking he'll be back by next week are WAY too optimistic. That is such a severe injury that I could see him missing the rest of the year. I mean how in the world does a dang rib just go back in place without being put there? Can anyone explain that to me? I've never really understood EXACTLY what this injury means ya know?
