Good players will have a bad game now and then, and Dallas had a stacked team in 1992.
But watching some high/low-lights from the December game showed why Sanders would have benefitted from better tackling.
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqdngE6q4sQ

    Aikman had a 153.7 rating.
Smith averaged 7 yards per carry. (This game probably kept Foster from getting the season rushing title.)
Irvin was targeted 7 times, with Sanders covering him, and caught the ball 6 times.

On Irvin's longest play (34 yards), Sanders had him wrapped up after a 5 yard pass. Sanders was shed like an old coat.

Oh My Lord in heaven....Your answer is because someone else said so.....Tell Me it's not true. Kid I like going back , and forth with You, but someday You will learn ....Popular opinions don't make them correct. It just makes them popular opinions....which are usually spouted by the weak minded.

Kind of a tie. Woodson was better all-around but could get torched in coverage (see Sterling Sharpe game) and Sanders could not tackle or even try to.

So why isn't anyone on here working for an NFL team or being paid for their "expertise"?

Corner could either push the guy out of bounds or clip him up. Never said those guys didn't matter. They were physical players and liked the contact. Deion just wasn't.

I've been on pats boards. Never seen them say ty law was the best ever. He isn't even the best cb to ever play for them. That is Revis.

Don't think bronco fans would say that either. They don't delsuinally call Elway the goat just because he played for Denver so why would they do that for Bailey over primtime?

Guess big Ben isn't great either. Everyone calls him a great qb but that doesn't matter right?

So the hall of famers who played with and against him need clicks?

Even worse bill belichick who picked the all team and is a guy that has shown to not care what no really thinks put prime on the all time team for clicks?

The majority of the nfl world from coaches, players, analysts, afcinados, etc.. all who celebrate deion just all need clicks? Jerry Rice needed clicks? I can name 1000s upon 1000s of people that praise this man but I guess they all need clicks. By that logic you need clicks for every player who ever played of you need clicks for someone as great as prime was lol.

Now Sanders is telling you what to think. This is one of the consequences of you being a plagiarist. You gave no critical thinking skills. Sanders said that to try to justify his poor tackling and his refusal to try to improve. That doesn’t make it true.

Those two passes to the other side of the field are your evidence? Pathetic.

He said it and he had teams lining up to get him knowing he only cared about coverage. And it's not nothing he told me. It's a fact a team values a cornerbacks ability to cover far more than tackling. They'd take a guy who can't tackle but can shut the field down any day of the week.

I didn't say nothing about the ints. Lol he was thrown to in that game far more than deion was. The 2 ints were just a by product of that.

While Woodson was great at coverage he wasn't as great as deion. You're taking the guy who's the absolute best at the most important aspect of the position.

    As a CB, Sanders

Woodson switched to FS, you can't compare them after that as Sanders never played FS.

Of course, teams value coverage over tackling, but that doesn't make tackling irrelevant. How do you not understand this? I get that you know very little about football and even less about critical thinking, but this is basic stuff.

There are some great arguments to be made for Sanders over Woodson. You haven't come close to making one because you are too busy listening to what people tell you, including Sanders, instead of actually thinking for yourself.
