QB Battle

I don't think anybody should be surprised by this, I read that Pickett was running 3rd team for now.

 

I heard there was a walk on guy with his mask on that stood about 6-5 240. He couldn't run very well but he was with the QBs. Nobody knows who the guy was but he seemed to throw the ball short and it came out within a second and a half. He kept jumping in, in front of trubisky and Pickett. They finally had to call security. Weird huh.

 

The whole 'Ben being gone' thing probably hasn't hit a lot of people till the season starts. I was in my 20's when Ben was drafted, and I'm an old man now. It's going to be an adjustment.

He was here for a long time. Hopefully Pickett is the man. Although, I have a suspicion that, like most teams, it'll be awhile before we get another great.

I have a Colt McCoy vibe with Kenny.

 

First day of OTAs and Kenny is not #1. He must be Colt McCoy.

For your information, perhaps you have no f***ing idea high up in your tower, that Colt McCoy has been in the league for 12 years now. Yet, he could never live up to expectations.

He was a 24 year old rookie with a similar scouting report.

I know that you have a much greater insight into Kenny than my flaccid speculation, so please enlighten me with your expert opinion. Perhaps you can tell me how many wins that Pickett will end up with in his career. You can be my personal "Sports Almanac". I can retire with your genius knowledge. We should just hand the boards over to you, cause you seem to f***ing know EVERYTHING .

Dotson needs to be focused this year to get back to where he was as a rookie!

Unless Pickett absolutely lights it up at camp, and in the preseason, then I hope they start Trubisky.

Bring Pickett on slow. The goal is to get Kenny ready for his career, not just the 2022 season.

 

National Media though will blow this logic out of proportion. Never mind them though, I wonder how Southwestern PA Media let alone Pittsburgh Media will take it?! Personally speaking, as much as I want Pickett to start, should Trubisky be able to win us some games, all the better.

Pickett should be 3rd guy.
The 2 guys in front of him have ran an NFL offense, 1 has ran the Steeler offense for several years now.
I like a good QB battle.
And I fully expect the Steelers to bring Pickett along at a good pace.

 

Three interceptions and this board will blow this logic out of proportion.
