That Burfect hit must have scrambled his brain. No way we do anything for him.

Nice to see some fellow musicians on here. I made my own Frankenstrat but the body and neck came from far away lands.

Being a union sheet metal worker, plenty of guys toot the "American made" horn yet don't follow through. Embarrassingly enough, I'm one of those guys. I don't pay nearly as much attention to it as I should.

    I still use mine heavily.
My classics are retired - the '57 Les Paul is the best I've ever played by far.
I actually own 6 all Standards, so needlessly to say, that is what I always play.
But I like my Telecaster... my favortie being a Jimmy Page Mirror.
    Taylors are my acoustics.
    And I have a 12 string Danelecto that I love a lot...
I have an old Jap Tokai Les Paul that everyone wants to buy? It was given to me.

I have a few. Paul Reed Smith came from back in the day when he was starting out... I paid nothing for it. Excellent axe.
I do have a 2019 Les Paul Standard that I love a lot....
and I owned a lot of those Charvelle and Jackson guitars back in the 80's when I thought I was Eddie Van Halen.

I own a 80s Jackson, but I haven't played it in awhile. I broke 3 strings at a live gig one night and I don't break strings. Let me repeat....3 strings...at one time. Doing a cover of Bush: Machine Head....a simple tune, but anyway....after that I refuse 2 play any guitars with a locking tremolo system live( apparently 2 springs gave away in the tremolo at the same time)....until I can afford my own guitar tech...LoL

My avatar should say it all. That's a Steinberger in the pic. Which I sold. I kept wearing out the zero nut.

    That made me go look

I have two NFL Throwback jerseys both made in Honduras

The lambert jersey is much older and much better made and has a Reebok emblem on it the other newer Bleier isn’t as nice

For some reason the Lambert (mine) also has a bunch of beer stains on it

There’s something to be said for grace, which is being given something you don’t deserve. In a funny sort of way, I think I’d have even more respect for Rooney and the Steelers organization if this happened. It could be the catalyst that helps AB get his life back on track. After all of the crap he’s said and done, he’s still a human being and I’m hoping he pulls out of this tailspin before it’s too late.

I get that sort of thinking. I really do. That said, at some point, even the Rooneys need to draw a line. Brown embarrassed the organization many times. He embarrassed himself even more. He didn't just burn the bridge back to Pittsburgh. He dropped Napalm on it. Now that he is trying to sell tickets to a concert in Pittsburgh, he is saying this to drive ticket sales. It is still about getting attention for his brand. Even if it wasn't, it is about what he wants without even offering lip service to the organization or the fans. I'm not even talking about an apology, though he certainly owes the team one. I'm talking about acknowledging the opportunities the Steelers gave him and the love and support he got from the fans. He didn't bother with that. It was just telling us what he wants. The more I think about that part of this, the more I think the Steelers need to politely tell him no. I think some version of what I wrote earlier would work. While they greatly appreciate his contributions on the field during his time in Pittsburgh, they believe they should continue to respect the desire he expressed to leave the Steelers behind. Add that they wish him well in his retirement and be done with it.

    OR!!!

Apparently he has a concert coming up in Pittsburgh for his album release...

Might be just trying to stifle that bad blood and get a little media traction to his event...

Just asking. I've never owned a PRS....even though I've wanted one.

I can’t say. I haven’t spoken to Paul since before leaving Annapolis 25+years ago. I know a few people that play them I can ask.
    /edit

Just checked their site. The private stock, core, and s2 lines are made in the USA. The SE line is made in South Korea or China

I have a Korean made PRS SE 245 (Les Paul style single cut). It’s a pretty darn good instrument.

I need one. I've played a few, and liked them , but never owned one. I actually thought the Steinberger guitars would be My all time go 2 Guitars, but I owned 3,and I kept wearing out the zero fret on all of them. They are easy 2 set up,and maintain....except for that part.

He was the best arguable non-qb offensive player of his Era and he doesn't deserve to retire a steeler?.
