I am surprised it took someone this long to post about this. This is a great UDFA signing. I think Durant is capable of making to 53, and maybe even competing with Snell for carries.

Unusual, both size and speed. Worthy signing.

Camp will provide the competition. He has the talent for sure. I'm thinking both Snell and or McFarland could be in trouble. Time will tell.

Poor Snell. I don't think He's as bad as some think. I thought He ran pretty good up the middle last year. He was never going 2 be a scat back, but I thought they knew that when they drafted Him. Ah Well...If He gets beat out...He gets beat out. Life in the NFL.

I think McFarland could be in trouble, I think Snell will make the team, he's a core special teamer.

I think Benny Snell is kind of the perfect embodiment of someone getting the most out of themselves in order to stay in the league as long as he can. He may not be the most talented RB in the game, but he runs hard. He isn't the fastest player, yet he is one of the best special teamers on our team. He makes himself very difficult to become expendable. He will be eventually, but I have to respect how he approaches it. Even if he gets beat out for carries, he at least can be the emergency RB that is a core special teamer. That guy always gets a hat on game day.

What I'm trying 2 say is ....I actually know nothing about this guy.

To be honest, both udfa RB's are pretty good. Warren has skills as well. Pass protection from the two will have to be seen but the whole rb room could look different.

I have a son who happens to be a huge Duke fan. I don't watch them a lot. But I saw enough that I liked the kid even before the draft.

Imagine Najee Jr. LOL. He is a power back, only with great speed. The problem is he is too small to be a power back in the NFL. Still, I think he is going to be pretty good. I figured he would get drafted anywhere between the 5th and the 7th. Turns out he didn't even get picked. IMO he definitely makes the roster.

His entire highlight reel was him running through holes so big he could have walked for the first down.

maybe we should’ve offered that Oline the highest offers ever paid to an udfa?

Seriously thats not showing anything but his o line dominating their opponents. He’s in for a rude awakening in Pittsburgh when he’s blasted in the face 2 yards behind the LOS on every run .

I never heard of the guy, but holy crap! He seems to be that rare player who is visibly faster than all other players on the field. Yep there were holes big enough for Myron Cope to run through, but two steps and no one was even going to smell him. Now sometimes that speed works out (Fast Wille Parker), and sometimes it doesn’t (Dri Archer). But it is an intriguing signing to say the least!

That might well be true, but this kid has speed, quickness and good vision. Plus, they didn't spend a draft pick on him. What's not to like?

    “Largest ever UDFA contract”

He got a $15,000 signing bonus and that’s the big deal.

    Talk about sensationalism.

Exactly! If he makes the team, great you're a genius. If he doesn't, you cut him and it doesn't matter because he is a UDFA. It is a no lose situation.

He has to be better than McFarland or Ballage, right? Even if he isn't the price to find out is a pittance.

Given his size and speed, he may very well be a candidate to convert to WR

I hope that his speed and quickness are not an illusion produced by the level of his competition. I could see him as an X receiver. He looks like he could shake a cornerback and get a bit of separation. This guy is interesting.

The big question is, with the attributes we see, why wasn’t he drafted? Does anyone know?
