Yes. Exactly those positions. I would expect a S or WR to be our next pick. If one of the LB's fall, maybe them. Could also see an OL. Depends on who is available.

I would agree, but if they really like someone like Brisker or Pitre.... I don't see why they wouldn't take a chance on them. I'm sure it all depends on who is available. Edmunds can hold the fort down for a while, but its obvious they aren't considering him the long term option. If one is available, maybe they pull the trigger. Would love to see us take a WR in round 2 though. I think its a sweet spot for us and there should be some good names available.

 

Kiper was never really great at predicting picks. That was never his value. What he did well was gather and process a lot of information from scouts, coaches and other people who really did know what was going on and package it in a way that fans could understand. That was a great value in the '80s and '90s, when there weren't really many options for fans to get that kind of information. Now, not so much.

 

That was my question as well. I agree with you that they wouldn't have taken Willis if Pickett was gone. I think Dulac got his prediction half right. He said there was only one quarterback they wanted in the first round and they would absolutely grab him regardless of who else was there if he made it to 20. The part Dulac got wrong was which quarterback. He thought it was Willis.

 

Hell He might still be around for the Steelers 2 grab Him again. LoL

 

All I can say is....We shall see....,and being a black Qb has nothing 2 do with it. Has been many a statue black Qbs, and many a running white Qbs....it's a style of playing....not a color.

 

I kinda feel bad for the kid, mainly cause he went to the draft and he prob shoudnt have.. but these announcers needs to get off that teams are gonna trade up for him. Bs.. i just dnt see it happening....

Are you aware of the concept of the smokescreen? There are reports out there such as Dulac's that there was only one quarterback they wanted in the first round. I think they would have taken Hill if Pickett had been gone, not Willis.

Obviously not. If they were trying to trade up to 15 for Willis they would have drafted him at 20 instead of Pickett. They were either concerned they would lose out on Pickett or had their sights set on someone else.
