I think this will prove to be a great pick. Colbert gets to set up the Steelers for the future.

What a great moment. You can tell looking at Tomlin in the war room they wanted Kenny all along. Trubisky will now have serious competition to start the year in Pickett. This all but has to end the Mason Rudolph era in Pittsburgh. How does he stick around after this.

I am happy for the kid and happy for the Steelers. I trust management much more than many people on forums. And the Steelers are good at developing. Good pick at 20.

Great pick. Seems weird going into a year without Ben, but the moves made in the off season plus drafting pickett should put them in playoff contention. It wont be easy, but they should compete and in my opinion should be more fun to watch than last year at least offensively.

Lemony Pickett. This was indeed a series of unfortunate events.

He went where he should. And we didn't have to trade up. I'm happy about the pick.

I do want to see what trubisky does. And may the best man win.

Also I would only go with Pickett and trubisky for our season.

Let's see what Canada can do with someone that is built for his style of offense.

Canada is at fault for not being able to adapt to the skill set of Big Ben, no excuses with Mitch and Kenny though.

That being said, Mitch and Kenny need to execute.

I would give Pickett and the rest of our picks to Baltimore for what they already have.

It's been a long time since I was excited about a draft pick. Hope he does well....Any idea what number he will wear or is it too early for that?

As an Iowa fan, would have loved to see Linderbaum on the same line as Daniels but I guess our future rides with Pickett. So it shall be written, so it shall be done.

Great pick. You cant win in the AFC without a strong arm now.
I watched every game he played in college.
    In good hands.
    Get him some WRs.

I don't get why the hand size is a big deal. Because a college ball is harder to grip. And clearly he didn't have a problem with that.

Just watched the nearly 2 minute long combine workouts and I think I now have an expert opinion. It's good and happy for the pick. Now need to go watch some highlights with the music in the background so I can crown him a future hall of famer.

    Go Pickett!!!!
