    TOMLIN SURE PUNK'D ME!!!

Thought Willis and no one else!!!!

Hope Pickett works. I really do WORRY about how much he can grow. Truth be told.. I believe he could be maxed out.

For the chief Art Rooney; who has to be smiling seeing the Steelers take a Pickett of the board.

They've had a tendency to fall in love with guys and really reach lately.

I don't hate the pick. It's not what I wanted. But he was clearly the most NFL ready QB.

My question is, do the Steelers trade Mason Rudolph to get an extra pick? He really has no purpose now. I can't imagine he will be a happy 3rd stringer.

Not many people thought he was going to shock the world. He was a solid option, but the long-term quarterback they wanted fell to them. Now they have to find some receivers for these guys.

Everyone thinks that. Except Tomlin of course. He's not living in his fears that Pickett is yet another milktoast journeyman QB on the roster.

Be honest now: if Kenny Pickett played ANYWHERE else in college, would we even consider drafting him? Try taking your Pitt Panther glasses off for a second. This is a horrible pick. God-awful.

I don't understand all the hate. To get a potential franchise QB at pick 20 is low risk. They didn't have to trade up. The stupid hand thing is asinine. Just like the rumors Marino had a drug problem. Nobody wanted to take Rodgers either. QB is always a crapshoot. If you can get the best QB in a weak class at pick 20, you do it. Strong QB drafts come along once a decade. We can't wait for that.

I think I have figured out the Steelers’ plan. Trubisky has a two year contract. Pickett will have that new finger lengthening surgery at Presby, sit out 2022 while he recovers, and break in during the 2023 season.

i guess all that Willis stuff was a smokescreen all along.

The guy has been a pro in the way he's handled himself since they drafted him. If he asks for a trade, they should accommodate him.

Happy with the fact that Colbert did not give away any 2023 picks to get his QB

I’m not super excited. But… I think his realistic comp is a more athletic Kirk Cousins, and he can probably be that level of player in 2023. That’s worth pick #20 any day.

Pickett isn't a reach. I'm sorry, but anybody who thinks that is dead wrong. He may not work out, but there were plenty of people who thought he was going No. 6 overall.

Don't like it. None of the QBs in this draft are better than what is already on the roster, which aint saying much. Wasted draft capital IMO. This team has much bigger needs than a reach of a QB in the 1st.

Please find me a mock draft that didn't have him in the first round. Some of you are just ridiculous.

Yes, if he played in a top 5 conference in college. Pickett's only knock is that he is 24. That's a big risk.
