I watched the whole interview.
When I was Younger I dug this type of stuff.
Im split as a person on this music....as a listener.....It's cool,, as a Guitar player though It gets boring 2 play for Me. Not enough changes, and 2 simple 2 play.....Not trying 2 be a d!<k. I probably should have just kept it this 2 myself, but I like conversing with You.
So I may have asked already. Do You like The Sword. They were one of My favorites 2 do this....I already know You like the Melvins, and So do I.

Thats it!!!! Im a fight you one day when you come to my town. Kiddddddddinnnnnnnng. :lolol:

Its ok, We're not sheep who are all gonna like the same stuff. For example, I cant stand guitar solo records. Like Joe satriani or yngvey Malmsteen. Hearing some guitar guy noodiling around for 50 minutes gets old for me. Real fast.

And I like old mastodon waaaaay more than new mastodon, mainly just because they substituted the slow heavy sludgy parts i loved for prog rock and all clean vocals. But I get it. They're getting older. Mellowing out. it is what it is. Its hard for alot of bands to keep putting out good records one after another.

To me, slow heavy riffage conveys more emotions. And that low end heavyness sounds better live. ive been listening to more black metal lately, which I really dont think you would like.

I do not like the sword. They actually ripped off Sleep early on.....

But yea, I do love the Melvins. They can pull off anything. Ive probably seen them live about 10 times.

    Now We will fight. LoL.
They (Mastodon) substituted from sludge 2 prog....because they have played longer, and got better at playing their instruments.
