NFL free agency thread 2022 rumors and signings

We made a push last night for Kareem Jackson (safety broncos). He got 5 million from Denver and decided to re-sign.

So that tells me what we are looking at paying a safety. I know that's cheap for Edmunds. But I feel they made an offer of maybe 6-7 per year for him.

Also I'm now thinking it's doubtful we go after the honey badger.

By the way. I really do like kazee. Dude is a ball hawk. And we could get him cheap.

 

LB Robert Spillane has signed a one-year restricted free agent tender.

 

Edmunds fifth year option was around 6 million and they declined, so I doubt they're offering him that much now, it's probably half of that.

 

In 34 career starts which is 2 full seasons, Kazee has 10 interceptions for an average of 5 per year. That's pretty darn good.

 

There is a lot more to judging a defensive back than interceptions.

Deebo has asked the 49s to trade him, I guess if they are not gona pay him what he wants, he will pout and threaten to leave,..... Players/ people make me sick self entitled pricks, are making millions and it still isnt good enough for them

Me as well. I think Deebo is a little bit better than Diontae, but I like what Diontae brings to the table. I also know that the actual price for Samuel is going to be higher than just Diontae, so I'm not interested in giving that up for a player that we are going to have to pay on top of that. He's a WR, not a QB. No thanks.
